The tourism industry in Ireland has been one of the major areas of growth and development in 2015. The number of tourists visiting Ireland has increased by 11% since 2014 and generated approximately €4.2 billion in revenue.
Tourism Ireland predicts 8.2 million visitors in 2016 and Minister for Tourism Paschal Donohoe is aiming to develop an extra 45,000 jobs in tourism by 2025 (Tourism Ireland Nov 2015)
